While our unique bespoke body pressure mapping analysis is a cornerstone of our mattress customisation process, we typically do not offer this service for children's mattresses.
The reason for this is simple: a child's body is constantly growing and changing. As such, conducting a one-time body pressure mapping analysis would not provide meaningful long-term benefits. Instead, we focus on designing children's mattresses that prioritise durability, support, and comfort, taking into account the unique needs of young sleepers.
However, there are exceptions to this approach. If a child has a medical condition or specific sleep requirements that warrant our unique bespoke service, we are equipped to provide personalised solutions. Using our medically approved technology, we can create a mattress tailored to the child's needs, ensuring optimal support and comfort.
In cases where medical conditions are involved, we may recommend monitoring and reviewing the child's sleep profile annually to accommodate any changes in their requirements as they grow. Our goal is to ensure that every child receives the restful sleep they need for healthy development and well-being. Bespoke Bed Bases
At Shaw & Holland, we understand the importance of safety and comfort for children, especially when it comes to their sleep environment. That's why we offer full customisation options for children's bed bases, just as we do for adults.
One of the customisations we can provide is adjusting the height of the bed base to meet specific needs. For example, we can lower the base to as low as 6 inches, reducing the risk of a child falling out of bed while still accommodating a deep-filled mattress for optimal comfort and support.
